Doug Collins Everybody...

"Anytime Detroit scores more than 100 points and holds the other team to below 100 points, they almost always win."

Thanks for that one. However, that was usually true the last couple of years. But his quote is so open ended that he might as well say that they can beat a team if they score more points, only sometimes.

I love it though. If the Pistons score a 100 and their opponents don't, THEY ALWAYS WIN. Haha. Not almost always, but always. soooo good.

Maybe he meant or?

If they score more than 100 or they hold the other team below 100 then they almost always win.

Totally possible. But the "almost" at the end tells me that he was just speaking fast, during a game, when shit was going down, and he said something stupid. Another NBA analyst said once:

"I don't know how he gets all those rebounds, but man look at those long arms, he just get 'em."

Really? You don't know how and then you say how right afterwards? awesome. haha
